Setting Profile Preferences

You can edit your email address and phone number settings in the app. Your email or phone number are used to send you notifications from the Medtronic CareLink Network to the app.

Notifications provide you with information about transmissions and clinic status. They also give you information to start troubleshooting problems with your network connection or problems with your phone or tablet connecting to your heart device.

  1. Tap Profile > Profile.

  2. Tap Edit.

  3. To edit your email address, tap the Email Address field and enter a new email address.

  4. To edit your mobile phone number, tap the Mobile Phone Number field:

    • To edit the phone number country code, tap the field that lists the phone number country code. If you did not previously enter a phone number, the field lists a Select Country prompt. After you tap the field, a drop-down menu expands. Tap your country code to select it.

    • To edit the phone number, tap the field that lists the current mobile phone number. If you did not previously enter a phone number, the field is labeled with a Mobile Phone Number prompt. Enter the phone number you want to use with the app.

    If you do not enter a phone number, some Message Preferences settings may not be available.

  5. Tap SAVE.
