If an automatic transmission did not occur, or if a manual transmission was not sent successfully, check the following requirements:
Is your phone or tablet battery adequately charged? Your phone or tablet must have sufficient power to be turned on. The app cannot send a transmission if your phone or tablet is turned off because the battery is not adequately charged.
Does the Home tab show that the app is Active? The app must be Active to send a transmission. For more information see Configuring Phone and Tablet Settings.
Is your phone or tablet between 6 inches (15 cm) and 3 feet (1 m) of you for a 3-hour duration? Your phone or tablet must be between 6 inches (15 cm) and 3 feet (1 m) of you for at least 3 hours to communicate with your heart device and to send data transmissions to the Medtronic CareLink Network. The app displays a notification when your clinic receives your transmission.
Is the app open and running in the background? The app must be open and running in the background to communicate with your heart device and to send data transmissions to the Medtronic CareLink Network.
