Messages - Receiving Notifications from the App

The app will send you notifications. Notifications are used to give you information about the app. Notifications help you troubleshoot problems with your network connection or problems with connecting your phone or tablet to your heart device. Message Preferences may vary by your geography. All message preference options may not be available in your geography.

Email

You can get notifications via email. Set up email notifications in the Message Preferences section of the app.

Email notifications may not be available in all geographies.

Text Message

You can get notifications via text message. Set up text message notifications in the Message Preferences section of the app.

App Notifications

These notifications are sent from the Medtronic CareLink Network to the app and appear on your phone or tablet.

What the notification means

Open MyCareLink Heart so the app can reconnect your heart device and clinic.

You will see this message if the app has not been able to communicate with your heart device for 4 days.

Reopen the app from your phone or tablet’s home screen. Check that the Home tab shows the app is Active or address any messages on the Home tab. The phone or tablet must be near you throughout the day, and the app must be open and running in the background for the app to remain Active.

You are now enrolled and connected to your clinic.

Your clinic has completed your enrollment. Your clinic can receive your heart device data through the app.
